Current Version: 2.1

Wiki-It is an extension is for Safari 5.0 or later. I based this off of the Whoozy extension. There’s another Wikipedia Search extension out there, but it doesn’t have nearly as many features as this one. The icon is by Paul Robert Lloyd.

What Wiki-It does:
– Allows you to right-click and search a selected text on Wikipedia through a contextual menu.
– Allows you to open a new tab, new window, or the same tab for Wikipedia search results.
– NEW IN V2.0: 10 language support! English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Nederlands, 日本語, Polski, Português, and Русский.
– NEW IN V2.0: Allows you to open Wikipedia search results in a background tab.
– NEW IN V2.0: Code rewritten.
– NEW IN V2.1: Adds Svenska and fixes multiple word search.

Why should you use Wiki-It?
– It works
– It helps you quickly search something on Wikipedia without removing you from your current window or tab if you choose.
– More features than anything else out there currently.

To do list for future Wiki-It releases:
– Multilingual/International extension, but it should work already with whichever language on Wikipedia you use based on your current cookies and selection. — DONE!
