Wiki-It: v1.00 — June 12, 2010 Wiki-It is an extension is for Safari 5.0 or later. I based this off of the Whoozy extension. There’s another Wikipedia Search extension out there, but it doesn’t have nearly as many features as this one. The icon is by Paul Robert Lloyd.
What Wiki-It does:
- Allows you to right-click and search a selected text on Wikipedia through a contextual menu.
- Allows you to open a new tab, new window, or the same tab for Wikipedia search results.
Why should you use Wiki-It?
- It works
- It helps you quickly search something on Wikipedia without removing you from your current window or tab if you choose.
- More features than anything else out there currently.
To do list for future Wiki-It releases:
- Multilingual/International extension, but it should work already with whichever language on Wikipedia you use based on your current cookies and selection.
